Lactic Acid (4%)
Lactic acid encourages faster shedding of the upper skin cells for new cell regeneration. The acid is a great humectant and helps to trap in the skin’s natural moisture and oil contents. Derived from fermented fruits and vegetables. In general, lactic acid is noted for its rich moisturising and skin brightening attributes and its ability to exfoliate dead skin cells without provoking skin irritation.
Seabuckthorn Fruit Pulp Oil*
Seabuckthorn’s high levels of antioxidants such as flavonoids and phytosterols, vitamins A, C, E & K and essential fatty acids of omega 3, 6, 7 & 9, all help to counteract the effects of premature ageing caused by the sun, smoking, or a poor diet. When used topically, seabuckthorn also reduces skin discolourations and helps to heal sunburns and skin damaged by chemicals.
Avocado Oil *
Locally sourced. Excellent penetration capabilities making it an excellent carrier of other ingredients into the skin. Avocado oil is primarily a monounsaturated oil, rich in Vitamin E, essential fatty acids and powerful antioxidant
Macadamia Oil *
Locally sourced. Helps promote skin elasticity and youthful appearance. The oil is rich in Vitamin E and antioxidants similar to skin’s natural oils, it penetrates the skin deeply
Gotu Kola Extract
Derived from the pennywort. Helps promote the health of skin tissue, and repairing damaged skin.
